Application Field
- Serving as an intermediate sealer for epoxy zinc-rich primer or inorganic zinc-rich primer to form a long-lasting heavy-duty anti-corrosion system.
- Used as intermediate paint or primer for industrial facilities including special containers, energy storage tanks, ships, offshore facilities, bridges, pipelines, storage tanks and port machinery.
- Improving the shielding performance and cathodic disbonding resistance of the entire coating system.
Performance Characteristics
- Excellent shielding performance: The scaly micaceous iron oxide arranges in parallel, greatly extending the penetration path of corrosive media.
- Good adhesion: It features excellent intercoat adhesion to epoxy primers and subsequent topcoats including PU, fluorocarbon, acrylic and other coatings.
- High Solids Coating(HSC): It achieves a high film thickness in a single coat, shortening application process.
- Good abrasion and penetration resistance: The coating is tough to resist mechanical damage and effectively block moisture vapor and chloridion.
- Good compatibility: It’s compatible with a variety of high-performance topcoats.
- Ultra-fine particle size with excellent leveling: The fineness of paint is ≤15μm, delivering a smooth and even coating surface, and improving the overall appearance and subsequent topcoats performance.
