Application Field
- Used as external anti-corrosion coating for the bottoms of special containers, buried pipelines, subsea pipelines, oil and water transmission pipelines.
- Used as protective coating for underwater facilities such as ship underwater areas, ship bottoms and ballast tanks.
- Used as anti-corrosion coating for long-term immersion environments, including sewage treatment tanks, cooling water towers, tank bottom plates and inner walls.
- Used for industrial facilities including special containers, energy storage tanks, ships, offshore facilities, bridges, pipelines, storage tanks and port machinery.
Performance Characteristics
- Excellent water resistance: The dense coating resists blistering and peeling under long-term water immersion.
- Acid, alkali and salt resistance: It resists erosion from seawater, acid and alkali media, suitable for harsh corrosive environments.
- Cathodic protection compatibility: It’s compatible well with cathodic protection systems.
- High Solids Coating(HSC): It achieves a high film thickness in a single coat, shortening application process.
- Good adhesion: It provides excellent adhesion to steel surfaces. 6. Impermeability: Thanks to the coal tar pitch component, the coating features excellent resistance to water vapor and oxygen penetration.
